This document establishes the operational parameters for participation in the Zokanoj Book Club community, effective as of March 15, 2026.
By registering for a Zokanoj Book Club account or engaging with our curated reading lists at zokanoj.com, you enter into a legally binding agreement. Participation is reserved for individuals who have reached the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction.
Account Responsibility
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate our community standards in the Seoul-based literary center or our digital extensions.

Our Stewardship
All intellectual property on zokanoj.com—including reading lists, methodological guides, editorial essays, and the zokanoj wordmark—is owned by Zokanoj Book Club. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of these materials is strictly prohibited.
Your Contributions
When you post comments, reviews, or or participate in digital discussion circles, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content within our community ecosystem to further intellectual discourse.
Etiquette of Exchange
Rigor
Discussions must remain focused on the text. We prioritize depth and nuance over superficial commentary or promotional noise.
Civility
Respect for dissenting intellectual viewpoints is mandatory. Harassment or exclusionary behavior results in immediate revocation of access.
Authenticity
Automated accounts (bots) and artificial intelligence agents are prohibited from participating in human-led discussion threads.
04. Limitation of Liability
Zokanoj Book Club provides its curated reading lists and community features on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy in our literary historical claims, we do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of South Korea, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing Law
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Seoul, South Korea.
